Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BackupBuddy application, operated by BackupBuddyQB Analytics Ltd. ("BackupBuddy," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
By creating an account or using BackupBuddy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Privacy Policy
BackupBuddyQB Analytics Ltd. ("BackupBuddy," "we," "us," or "our") operates the BackupBuddy application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
Security
Intuit ApprovalBackupBuddy has passed Intuit's technical review and security review, which are prerequisites for listing on the QuickBooks App Store.
AuthenticationBackupBuddy uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 protocol for all QuickBooks Online connections. We never see, store, or have access to your Intuit username or password. You can revoke BackupBuddy's access at any time from your QuickBooks Online account.
Read-Only AccessBackupBuddy requests only read-level API permissions. We cannot create, modify, or delete any data in your QuickBooks Online account.
EncryptionAll data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
InfrastructureBackupBuddy is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which maintains SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, and other industry certifications. Your data may be stored and processed in Canada and/or the United States.
Access ControlsInternal access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, with audit logging enabled.
Supporting DocumentsExported supporting documents (invoices, receipts, bills) are stored with the same encryption and access controls as your financial data. While your account remains on a paid plan, hosted attachments for each exported report are retained for up to two (2) years from the date the report was generated. If your paid subscription ends — by cancellation, non-payment, or failed payment — hosted attachments are permanently deleted immediately upon expiry of your paid period.
Data RetentionYou control what data is extracted. Exported data is retained for up to two (2) years from the date of export while your subscription is active. It is permanently deleted immediately when your paid subscription ends, whether by cancellation, non-payment, or disconnection. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
Responsible DisclosureIf you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to info@backupbuddyqb.com. We take all reports seriously and will respond promptly.
